Instructors/Guides
Spanish Language instructors are native speakers. All instructors have
received their Certificate of Competency in teaching Spanish and have
a desire to be "cultural emissaries". Likewise, our
specialist tour guides have credentials from the State and speak fluent
English. Our staff will be the highlight of your trip!

What our students say!
" I cannot believe all that we did and saw during our tour of
Oaxaca. The small group was delightful and our guides extremely knowledgeable.
The schedule was flexible enough to allow for individual desires.
The food was excellent and the B&B very comfortable. I would love
to return".
M.L.D., Physician
" I have attended 2 summer sessions with VISTAS one in Oaxaca
and one in San Miguel ... the program is distinguished by its attending
to the comfort of the student . Our learning was enhanced by comfortable
and private quarters, excellent food, cultural field trips and good
advice on shopping".
S.C., Assistant Superintendent
" My primary goal when I enrolled was to develop my Spanish language
skills. The small class size and creative teaching methods not only
helped me to exceed my expected Spanish language development but also
truly immersed me in Mexican culture and history. It was a 'once in
a lifetime experience' that will make me a better educator".
